For all you weight watchers out there....Here is a tortilla that I found at Costco (not sure if you can buy them everywhere yet because this is the first package I bought of this kind). They are 2 points plus value for Weight Watchers. Generally, all the wheat tortillas that I've found before this that are about this size are 3+ points. So, it was a nice find.
I don't understand what the "plus" means. Can you divulge that information?
ReplyDeleteWeight Watchers came out with a new program at the beginning of the year - completely getting rid of the old points value program and replacing it with the Points Plus program. So, when I talk about Points Plus, it's the new points system. The new program gives you more points to eat each day as well as the majority of fruits and vegetables being 0 points. Before, only most vegetables were 0 points and fruits still had points. One of their reasons for the change is to help us not feel bad in spending our points on healthy things like fruit.
ReplyDeleteSo, under the old system, these tortillas would have been calculated at 1 point by using the fiber, calories and fat grams. Now, they are calculated at 2 points plus by using the protein, carbohydrates, fiber and fat grams.
